Yannique Williams

Design that works for every learner

I design accessible, problem driven learning for K-12 and corporate settings using UDL, WCAG, and AI to turn complex ideas into results learners can use.

What I Actually Do

I'm Yannique Williams. I design digital curriculum for grades K-12 and lead accessibility QA for WCAG and UDL ✏️ I also mentor other instructional designers and teach AI to handle repetitive tasks so I can focus on creative work. I started as a science teacher, surviving virtual seventh graders and hybrid high school biology with AR and simulations. That chaos taught me that good design starts with real people, not perfect theories 💡 Now at McGraw Hill, I use UBD and design thinking to build problem driven learning for K-12 and corporate teams. I'm finishing my M.Ed. in Instructional Design with a 4.0. My approach is simple: listen, test, fix, repeat. I build the kind of lessons I wished for when I was standing in front of a classroom.

I enjoy transforming complex ideas into clear, learner-friendly content and continuously refining my work through reflection, feedback, and collaboration. Whether designing curriculum, online courses, or learning activities, my goal is always to support diverse learners and create experiences that feel thoughtful, empowering, and human-centered.

Frequently Used Tools
